Oh kilt me! FIGHT OR FLIGHT by Samantha Young is the deliciously sexy rom-com that I have been waiting for. I’ve always enjoy the enemy to lovers trope and this one starts of with a bang. It is funny and hot and you know that there is deeper story underneath it all that keeps you white knuckling those headphones as your can’t wait for what comes up next.
Can you imagine having the worst experience of your life and then trying to flee it only to experience getting thwarted by some obnoxiously gorgeous man that seems to make it his mission in life to piss you off? Well this is exactly what Ava experiences in FoF. From her first encounter with hotty Scotty Caleb, sparks immediately flew with anger but after a bit of time together those sparks turned into something else that neither one of them expected.
I have to admit I was laughing my ass off while I was listening to this audiobook. I had not expected to enjoy it as much as I did but I loved hearing what these two characters where doing to each other, from the laughter to the moans of pleasure and all the heartbreaking confessions in-between this book had me. I liked these characters and their inevitable attraction to one another and how despite the fact that they acted to be indifferent to one another they were anything but.
If you are a fan of rom-coms this audiobook is perfect for you and OMG! can all books have a Scottish accent included in them? Because this was music to my ears.
Narration: I adore any audiobook that has a foreign accent involved in it and this one is just so steamy because of how well Caleb is portrayed. I think narrator Angelica Lee did a fantastic job of bringing this book to life in audiobook form and I will keep my eyes open for more novels with her involved in it.
A series of chance encounters leads to a sizzling new romance from the New York Times bestselling author of the On Dublin Street series.

When his stay in Boston becomes permanent, Ava must decide whether to fight her feelings for him or give into them.
