Review

I have not read anything from Beth Anne Miller before, yet I was intrigued by the premise I had read for UNDER A STROM-SWEPT SKY. It looks exactly like a book that I would swoon over and I was not disappointed.

This story is of an American tourist Amelia, as she journey’s to Scotland to conquer and eighty mile trek across the island of Skye. She knows it will be hardest thing she has ever done, along with fighting her demons but little did she expect to fight every step of the way with her tour guide, Rory. A man that breaks down her walls and pushes her farther than anyone has before. As they spend time together on this grueling mission they are able to see past their defenses and become something more to one another, but will it be enough when this tour is over and they are an ocean apart?

I love a good romance and the location set for this story proved to be an intoxicating backdrop for this novel. The vividly rich landscape swept me away as I got pulled into Amelia and Rory’s slow-burning romance. Then tension so palatable that I could not help yelling at them to “Do something!!” Before I could explode.

UNDER A STORM-SWEPT sky is exactly what you need if your looking for a romance to get lost in. One that takes you within it’s pages and leaving you breathless because of the heart-warming romance that Amelia and Rory attain before your very eyes. I cannot tell you how much I adored this story and I highly recommend it to everyone.
