Say what you will but I love a bad boy….especially if he is wrapped up in a billion dollars and looks as hot as sin. BRETT: BAD BOYS AFTER DARK by Melissa Foster is my first read in this genre of romance and it’s not going to be my last.
When I picked up BRETT:BBAD I was a bit hesitant because not only was this my first read by this author, but it is also interconnected to a few of her long running series, but it can be read as a standalone. I thought I would be a too lost to catch up but within a few chapters I was completely absorbed with the story line and ravenously kept reading through it’s pages.
Brett has always been a one night stand kind of guy and he has had his eye on his brother’s assistant for a long time. Then his lust filled dreams begin to change and initially he doesn’t know what to do with his new feelings for Sophie. He has this an unexplainable pull towards her and it confusing and wicked intense for him.
Sophie on the other hand is a hard working, determined woman who is attracted to Brett but does not know what to do with his advances. At one point she decides to give in to temptation (Heck Yes!) and decides to take that walk on the the wild side and give in to Brett. What ensues is this intense relationship where together they are able to be everything the other person needs.
I would definitely recommend this book. It is my first Melissa Foster novel and it will not be my last. This bad boy novel is sure to keep romance readers entertained.
