I am a HUGE fan of Lauren Blakely and every time I read her newest release I think that that book is my new favorite, but I was just kidding myself because once I devoured WANDERLUST I knew in my heart that it would be one of my top favorite romantic reads ever.
What happens when you place one hot British guy together with one fiery American woman in the city of love? Nothing short of AMAZEBALLS! It didn’t take me long to get sucked into this novel and all that it had to offer. Joy, let’s go of her fears and takes a job in France working at her dream job, yet the only thing that would make it perfect would be for her to master the language. Griffin is one job away from leaving France and heading out on a mission of his own, to fulfill a MUST do list from a loved one. On a chance encounter they meet and sparks fly but they part without exchanging numbers and stay on each other’s mind until a work commitment brings them together again, now this is when things get really interesting. Joy is determined to keep things on the level she refuses to let work get mixed with pleasure and Griffin is a gentleman that is complying with her wishes….yet, in the city of love that is an impossible task and so a romantic flight of epic proportions begins and it is heady with the mix of taste, sights and feels that Lauren plunges us into. I adored it.
WANDERLUST is that feel good romance with the right amount of angst to make your heart beat faster and then it beats a lot faster for another reason all together. Smexy cannot even begin to describe it how hot these two characters are together. I not only recommend reading this book but I HIGHLY recommend listening to it. OMG! Richard Armitage’s voice is nothing short of bliss and you will be transported to Paris and all it loveliness.

Who knows where I’ll end up after I take off on my great adventure? We made so many marks on that map. If I found it, it’d be full of pinholes, I’m sure.
