All swoon for his Royal Highness, Prince Viktor. I am a sucker for royal romances and when the opportunity to read THE SWEDISH PRINCE by Karina Halle presented itself, I could not resist.
I quickly devoured this story that had my attention from the start. Maggie is ready to take on the world, a student in college with her whole life before her. Then tragedy trikes and she finds her self back home and in charge of her younger siblings. Overwhelmed but determined to make things work she finds employment at the local hotel. Little did she know that a chance encounter with tall, dark, and very much naked would turn her life around.
Viktor is far away from home, trying his best to forget his painful past so that he can move on with his destined future. While on his forced sabbatical he makes a careless mistake which lands him in Maggie’s capable, yet unwilling hands.
When ensues next is moments of hilarity tinged in mutual sadness that seal a bond between both characters. Believe me, you will get all the feels with this novel as Viktor and Maggie embark on a whirlwind romance that will steal your heart.
The Swedish Prince is presented as a revamped Roman Holiday with a twist and I completely agree. Anyone that has seen Roman Holiday has always wished for a better ending than the movie ever portrayed and Karina does not disappoint.
